Geez, posting regular content on a blog can be difficult. How do people keep up with it?

Welcome Back

So it's been a while, eh?

To catch everyone up to speed, here is what I have been doing since my last blog post on BigBren three years ago:

• I got into the University of Georgia's doctoral program for social work and started working on my PhD (I start my dissertation relatively soon)
• I lived with my brother and sis-in-law, Gabe and Shirin, in Athens, GA for a little while (along with my nephews—Cyrus and (soon-to-be) Kai
• I discovered mountain biking, filming zombie movies, and kickboxing (again)
• I think I am in love with this Athens town

So that's it. I currently work for a program that tackles foster care initiatives, I teach kickboxing, and I watch a lot of movies on Netflix.

Let me know what you guys are up to—this blog will hopefully be a two-way street.

I'm back.
Yes, on this day of all days (I turn 30 years old today BTW) I have decided to chronicle the life and times of this Florida boy. I figure the first 30 years didn't have much going on but maybe this next 30 will be epic.

LeftHandedNinja.blogspot.com was already taken so I changed it from a ninja to a tiger
